Got an older ADIX (6.2) in an Older hotel, about a week ago it started lockin up the entire system when they try to set a wake up time.
They press "wake up call", display says hh:mm EXT. they enter the ext. get confirm tones, then enter the time in 24 hr (0600) then nothing, all calls drop, display stays the same, no phones have dt. gotta reset. so they've been doing wake ups manually.
Anyone seen this before? only thing I can think of is CPU of bad software card since those are the only things really involved. I was thinking of defaulting and reloading software but with the age issue, im a bit leery of that.
Thanks again Rich

A default and reload may help, but a bad processor is still a bad processor. Check the error log for a lot of heap or stack errors or scratch pad errors. That could indicate a memory problem.
It could also be a problem with the power supply going south. The only ADIX I ever saw that locked up had a slowly dying powers supply. After replacing it, no more locking up, no data errors. Try that first.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
