I want to change the SMDR output of the sv8500 fron serial to IP. While in the manual I found how to do most of the programming, I couldn't find how to tell the SV8500 what IP address to send the SMDR to (the IP address of the call-accounting computer). Anybody knows where to define that? I'm writing a program that opens an IP socket to listen to the PBX and receive raw smdr, breaks down the fields and then dumps all the data into an sql database for easy search and accounting.

Just to circle back on this, I got with my vendor, who was extremely helpful and explained that the computer that supposed to receive the smdr stream needs to send a "polling" message to the PBX, and then the PBX will send SMDR records to it. He also sent me an SMDR Manual that's not on the DVD that comes with the SV8500, which explained in detail the protocol between the pbx and the computer. With that, I was able to write a program that now polls the smdr records from the pbx.
