Hello All, I am trying to implement a 2 hunt group config where there is a tier 1 and tier 2.
Tier 1 hunt group (1000) would consist of 4 agents. Tier 2 hunt group (78100) would consist of 12 agents.
I would like all calls to first be answered on HG 1000 but if busy then hop over to HG 78100.
I tested it on my system and for some reason when the call transfers to HG 78100 and when the user finishes the call and hangs up, the customer then rings back to hunt group 1.
Also, on my Reporter, the call never actually shows as being answered on HG 78100. It shows as abandoned because when it rang back to HG 1000 I hung up.
Any ideas or suggestions? Thank you all in advance. By the way, this is a great forum with great info.

Assign the backup group to the Recall destination of 1000. Then assign the correct recall timer value for recall under hunt group 1000's Timers section.
