Very odd. Obviously if you ran wireshark, then you could prove that the audio is leaving the switch. I would think this would be the case if 99% of the other calls are fine.
The only thing wireshark could tell you is where the audio RTP is being sent. setting up an ethernet capture is always a pain ( I carry a 15+ year old data hub just for this), and at times it gives you a bunch of info that really doesn't seem that helpful, but everyone wants to see the trace, from Toshiba support, to the SIP trunk provider.
The providers can sometimes capture a trace if you ask them. Also, I would call those numbers from a land line at the same time while testing.

Yep Toshiba wants to see what happens through wireshark , and I either need a old HUB or managed switch. Can't find a HUB and a managed switch is pretty expensive

Netgear GS108E is fairly inexpensive and does port mirroring, I finally convinced my boss I had to have it to troubleshoot this very thing (well SIP Trunks behind a firewall).

Netgear GS108E is fairly inexpensive and does port mirroring, I finally convinced my boss I had to have it to troubleshoot this very thing (well SIP Trunks behind a firewall). I think every tech that ever has to troubleshoot needs something like this, and the managers and owners of the company have to be educated that runing wireshark is not as easy as they think. I was asked if I could run wireshark on a remote PC to troubleshoot an IP phone. Um. No. The PC is not in-between the phone and the PBX. Being on the same network does not mean the PC will say any traffic. While searching I saw this one that looks real nice: https://www.dual-comm.com/port-mirroring-LAN_switch.htmNever used it. Not endorsing it, but it has POE pass-through, which would be handy. Plus I find it interesting that it is USB powered , for those cluttered telco rooms.

Just curious, and not sure if I am reading this right, you have two phone numbers outside of the CIX100s that are called by CIX100s and you have one way audio when the outside party answers, is that correct?
If so, what kind of lines are these two numbers, SIP lines, VOIP lines, Cable box lines, POTS lines? Just curious at what is on the other end.
