Have a strange problem with a 7400.

If I call the main number which is on SIP which is an AA and dial an extension number of an IP phone call works normally.

If I dial the DDI number of the IP phone, when the call is answered we have no audio in either direction.

System has two OAS cards

I have set up port forwarding for the OAS cards

Card 1 uses 30000-30032
Card 2 uses 32000-32032

Router is a draytek 3900.

Any Ideas?

If you have the MPS turned on you will have to forward the 40000 range ports aswell.

TO test though you can just turn the MPS off and see if that fixes it first then set up the port forwarding for the MPS and turn in back on.

It's best to have the MPS on when using SIP trunks as you will use less OAS channels.

You will need to map 30,000 - 30,031 to the first card, and 30,032 - 30,063 to the second. You also need 6000 to the MP40 ip address

Thanks for the replies!

I have disabled MPS and it now works ,

I have the MPS ports redirected on the router to the two OAS card addresses I'm using ports 40000-40032 for the 1st card and 41000-41032 for the second

Not enough ports for mps are forwarded there

you need 40000 - 40127 for the 1st card
you need 41000 - 41127 for the 2nd card

MPS uses 4 ports per call
MGI uses 2 ports per call

if running 4.60b or higher you will also need

you need 45000 - 45127 for the 1st card
you need 46000 - 46127 for the 2nd card

also make sure to change the local port range for mgi/mps/rtg (if running 4.6x)
