With the 20e you don't use wav files, you use dialogic vox files, and then convert to PMT files.

We don't have 20i yet, but it would be similar if not the same as uploading to OS7100 via DM

Can you do this on the 7030/7100 too? Have a sales guy selling voice mail for music on hold to compete with the opposition....

Cheers, Dave.

You just have to convert the wav files to g.726 for the MP10a/OS7030 and then you can upload them and use them

We do it on every system we sell.

Email me at [email protected] and I'll send you the wave file we use.

Then, under 2.2.3 SVMi Card, set your last voicemail port (ex 3004) to 5000 (prompt for MOH)

Then under 2.4.2 Port Common Data, set the MOH to that voicemail port (3004)

Then go to 8.6.1 VMAA / Voice Studio / Prompts and upload my 5000.wav file and Bob's your uncle!

Note : You can take any MP3 or whatever and find a shareware converter to convert it to a Mono Wav 128 bit wave file and it will work just fine. If it's the wrong type of wave file format it will play suuupppppeeeerrr sssslllloooowwwww.

Please also note that your voicemail port will be taken out of use for voicemail and used to just broadcast MOH. There is no limit to the number of simultaneous calls on hold listening to music broadcast by the single channel. Not really recommended for a 7030 because it only has two ports to begin with.

Also, very impressive for a customer demo.
