Working within an operation group at a telco company, I know what works here and certainly what doesn't work. What do you consider to be crucial for a good telco srevice department to become a GREAT service dept? ie: communication flow from customer thru the "office" to the tech neing dispatched, logistics and stock, training time, handling follow-up calls on troubles, site surveys, etc etc.
What do you consider to be the best asset of you telco team?
No one seems to have time to do it right but everyone has time to do it twice!
