I have an Inter-Tel IP phone model 8622 that was programmed for external use. How can I configure the phone to work behind our firewall?

We have an Axxess system, not sure of the model number.

Well, is you IPRC on the same LAN as the fone? If so, the fone should find the IPRC when it boots up. If you need to enter programming on the fone, hold down the 7 and 8 keys while booting the fone until you see the programming menu. Use the bottom two feature keys to move backwards and forwards (by default transfer and outgoing).

I have a similar situation. I just started working here, and I'm not terribly familiar with how the Intertel Axxess system works, but I'm learning day by day

I see that there is a password on the IPRC card which prevents me from entering any extended configuration paramaters.

I removed the card to look for a reset jumper or CMOS battery, to no avail. How might I reset this card to factory defaults, so that I can continue to program the system?
