Hey folks,
We have a couple clients with 7100 systems and are having a hell of a time getting remote access to their VM. Now, we've confirmed that they have ports 6001 and 6002 open but when we link from IT Tools, it asks to confirm a security certificate (which we accept) then it returns a page not found (404) error.
The common thread between the two sited is a sonicwall router.
Any ideas?? -W

If using IT tool then VM uses port 443, Device Manager with 4.6x software uses port 6001.

Your 404 error is due to port 443 in use for something else (server or the sonic wall itself).
Best bet is to use a different external port (eg 444) forwarded to the system on port 443 internal.
Then just add :444 after the ip address (https://1.2.3.4:444/etc)
