I have a question regarding the OS 7200. I am trying to use a Valcom multi-zone paging setup. When the Valcom gets the contact closure, it sends a tone waiting for DTMF signals to choose one or all zones. I can hook a butt set up and tell the Valcom is sending it's "waiting" tone if you will, but the DTMF is not reaching it from the Samsung. Any ideas would be appreciated. The old setup they had used CO port paging, which is a bit rough when I have moved them solely to a PRI for the system. Thanks in advance for any help and I hope everyone has a good New Year!

That is a bitch, no DTMF is supposed to pass that I know of, better off putting in a CO card if you have room.
If it is from just one extension that you have to do the paging, there used to be some inline dialers that you put between the handset and the phone and pressed the touch tone button you needed, made $600 off an NEC console that way once. Maybe Mike Sandman would have or know of where there are some.
If everyone has to dial, then a CO card is about the only other way I know, no "override" code.

Thanks Bunnie. I was afraid of that being the case. Other than that it was a smooth install, I appreciate the info. I have ordered a CO card at the customers behest and shall have CO port paging hooked up in a day or two. Thanks again for the reply.

If you have analog stations already, you could then use a station port paging access unit. Might be cheaper than a co card.

Maybe I'm wrong, but if you dial an analog extension, it should be locked to 3 digits same as digital.
It is getting the audio over the talk path that is the reason for the inline dialers.
Had to do that way back in the day of the Businesscom Plus and voicemail.
