They've been good in the past to tell me what the trouble was and how they fixed it. I would expect no less today. There of plenty of other BP's around who want our business if they don't.

Sure, you kinda have to tell the customer what you did in order to get paid. Even if they stood there and watched me they wouldn't come away with much of anything usefull because they have no knowledge. It's like watching a doctor remove an appendix. No way would I help the customer do my job even if they could understand. This is how I make my living.

Well, it turns out they were a little baffled as well.
Told me to zero out the condition editor which I did. That didn't help. Restarted the system and that didn't help.
Then after I had deleted the condition editor for Saturday I went back to the flow and calls were still looking at Saturday.
So I deleted Saturday from the call flow and everything is working with the auto attendant, as we wanted, now. I'm still not much of an IPO tech, but I'm gettiing better.
This guy was great to show me how to trouble shoot the system.
I decided at the last minute to not go with Avaya to solve the problem, because they are such a pain to open a ticket with, but went to Continuant who has some of our other contracts. I was impressed at how he helped me and not once called me a dunce. lol.
I've done business for quite awhile with those guys and they have never let me down.

If you are under maintenance with Avaya a BP is not allowed to do business with you. Besides that I guess you must like paying double. You're already paying Avaya.

I was under the impression that because this is considered 'software' I was going to pay either way.
Is that not right?

I don't know what your maintenance contract says but I would guess the situation is if you have to pay for something it would have to be them. All I know is that my contract with Avaya said stay away from anybody they are providing maintenance to if I wanted to remain a BP.
