I replaced a 2 line 6 station card (E206). Green light is on but no lines or stations. Does the new card need to be initialized and if so, how?
Any help would be appreciated.

It is a refurbished one I purchased. I didn't think it needs to be initialized. I had problem getting it to seat right. It is not a stand alone, has one other 206 that works fine. I read somewhere that a new on came with plastic protectors. I didn't check for that and I didn' think a refurbished one would have them. All I really needed to know if it copmes roght up once it's replaced.
Thanks

there is no cofiguration or initialization needed. It won't even go in the slot with a plastic protector installed, but I've only ever seen the protectors on the Processor, which is a completely different card edge connector and connector size than the 206. If it's a good card, it will come right up

What is your system card configuration, which one are you replacing and what is the version of the processor? Do you have a backup card?
