We have a customer that is having very strange voicemail issues. the first thing is when the phone rings upstairs it only rings twice and goes to voicemail, it also seems to be duplicating voicemail because when it is checked there were 11 blank msgs. just really strange issues. Any help please?

What type of VM? Inskin Flash, Hard drive, TalkPath?

My guess on the eleven dead air messages are due to the fact that someone went into that mailbox and entered their extension number instead of an external phone number to be notified. People do this all the time thinking that they have to do so in order to receive a message waiting light.
The other possibility that would cause this is the absence of disconnect supervision on the lines. Has the service provider been changed to a CLEC or CATV provider recently?
These issues would pretty much affect any voice mail system.
