From Ext. 10 customer is dialing INTERCOM *#08, presses 2 for DCD message, then comes to DVA Station ports. When they enter 10, nothing happens (also pressing # and ## have no results either). What could be causing this?

Why would they enter 10? That's the port they calling from.....

The manuals I have read state to select/enter 10 (as that's their extension) followed by # when you reach the SELECT DVA STATION PORT". When they do this, nothing happens and it remains at the SELECT DVA STATION PORT screen.

I think if you reread carefully it asks you to input the DVA station port...

What is the station port usually programmed as? Is it the actual extension number of that needs the VM recording updated on (she has entered her extension 10 and it does not progress)? The technician who normally works on comdials cannot assist with this.

If you are looking to record a VM greeting then the DVA has nothing to do with it.
