I have a customer with an IPK Elite SPO37 7.01 and I can not get the message light to stop flashing. Have checked voice mail and message waiting. Any ideas please. Thanx

Try leaving a new message, hanging up, and then calling back to delete that message.
Or, log into the voicemail card and resync all message lights. Also, make sure that the port marked A/D is not locked up.

Thanx In the voicemail, logged on from a laptop, you would see that the voicemail ports say "Ans" except for one marked "A/D". That one send the signal to light and turn off msg lamps. If the port gets busied out, msg lights never change. If you can't log into the voicemail, then this advice won't help you, and you should call out a local tech to resolve this for you.

What color is the MWI Red or green?? If green and they have a 60 button DSS then it's usually been set from there.

Yea, its steady red. I told the customer we could pull a sub from out of town and it would only cost them a million bucks. They have decided to live with it. Thank you for you help.

One way you could get rid of it if it's not from the VMS is to take a download of the system database, default the switch and then hardware reload it.
