Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with 3rd Party Multi-zone paging modules and the Allworx?

Any recommendations? CO Ports or IP?

We have yet to have an opportunity to use a Zone paging adapter on an Allworx. All of the paging systems (single zone) that we DO have are on the paging/MOH port on the 6X. It works fine. We have put Door phones on a C.O. port but no paging systems. I have talked to Valcom about their IP paging--and almost got one in, one time--and was very impressed with what they said. It seems to be fairly simple to set up and quite reliable.

We have several Valcom zone paging adapters on other system and they work good---I would suspect that they work work the same on an Allworx (coming off of the paging port). We have several Bogen multi-zone page adapter out there, and those, too, would probably work just fine on the Allworx.

I've had luck with the external port out as well. Had to put an isolator on before in one instance with a 24v speaker direct line.

Looks like we are going with the Bogen PCMTIM actually. Looks like a nice and easily expandable zone page unit, allowing an all zone page as well.

We've had success in another instance as well.

We've done several systems with a zone controller connected to FXO port on the Allworx. Never had a problem.
