We have a visitors' phone here. I'd like it to ring a buzzer or produce a tone over our suite's intercom speakers when somebody picks it up. Is this possible to do? In Axxess 9.0.
Thanks

Hey Hunter:
Take a look in your manual under LRA (Loud Ringer Adapter.)
You can also bring an external buzzer off a single line card as long as the ringer equivalancy is in range. As I recall the REN of the SLC-16 Card is 16.0 at a freq of 20 Hz. Pretty sure it's 72VDC.
As far as something specific to V 9.0 I'll defer to Superfoneguy's expertise.

Okay I'll give it a shot.
But a curiosity first.
Do I actually plug in the speaker line to the back of the card? Sort of, like a headphone jack??
I'm still REALLY new to these types of systems.
Thanks!
