Team,
After setting up a new 8660 phone, I have run into an issue, where I can leave a message for that phone via it's DID # (say 559-8212) and it appears in the V.M. system, ready to retrieve properly (message lamp blinks at the correct station and can retrieve the message). However, if I dial the *internal* number of the 8660 phone (say 1212), I can leave a message, but it never winds up at x1212's mailbox. Any thoughts???
I apologize if any of this is confusing....
Thanks in Advance!

Does it have the same greeting exactly as the DID MBX?

I'm assuming that you are either pressing the MSG key when calling the extension 1212, or perhaps you have system forwarding enabled on IC calls. In any case, here's what you need to look at:
Under the station, check the system forwarding path and make sure it is the primary path to your voicemail application, and then check the message center for ext 1212. If you're on a newer version, it will be in Associated Extension info under the station.
Good luck!
