We have recently taken over a IDCS 100 and recently we have lost power to the system. The power was restored. Every time we try MMC800 and enter password it says country undefined, and we select the country we can't get past that point. It continues to ask you to select a country and it never saves the country selected. We have rebooted several times. Not sure what to do at this point. Any Help would be appreciated.

Once you've selected the country, press the right softkey to accept.

You are also either going to want to replace the Mem card (i'm guessing that's what you have) or the soldered on battery, otherwise you will go through this every time you lose power.

I've tried the right soft key several times and it just scrolls thru trying to default the system.

It is not a battery, it is a super-capacitor.
Watch the screen. When you do the 800 program it will ask you to select a country, USA or US, I forget, is way down the stack.
Once you select that, push the right of the three buttons under the screen (NOT the scroll button) and your country will be selected.
Then do the rest of your programming. You can hook up 4 12 volt batteries to the plug in the window of the power supply, use the connector or wire wrap with the old Bell too. Watch polarity.

You need to accept the default of the system (change the no to a yes) before you will be able to restore (if backed upto flash) or reprogram

I've used the right softkey button, and I have selected the default option, and it doesn't save my option. The Software version is 4.2 Can I access the system via a PC to see if I can program? if so; what software can I use?
Everything I tried thus far seems to go back to select Country.
I will try to go to the default option again.
I thank you guys again for your assistance with this.
