I actually have two offices with the exact same issue. When someone calls in and it goes to voicemail they hear the genral vm greeting and then main phone user's voice mail greeting.

Both systems are Axxess 5.2f2 systems. This is how they are setup.

There is a ring-in created in the CO Trunk Group. The Day Ring-In points to the hunt group ring-n (2000).

The hunt group ring in (2000)is setup so in the members you have the station ext list (P0000) Ring-In and then the call routing announcement 2502 (night mode).

This seems correct to me in both instances. Is this actually a programming issue or did they perhaps setup two general vm messages. This seems unlikely but.....???

Thanks!

Hi Troy:

I'm not sure I fully understand what is happening by your description. If you're saying that one recording is followed by another recording, without a transfer taking place, then I'd say go in and look at the recordings assigned to the call routing announcement. You can actually have multiple recordings assigned and it will play them in order.

Take a look at that and then post back.

You mean in the members area there is a P list and the Call Routing Annc.? I guess this would be OK but the call is never really going to end at the Auto Att. Look at all the options in that hunt group and tell us what is programmed in there, especially the Announcement/Overflow/Recall. We need some more info.

sorry for the confusion. I'm thinking it's an easy fix but it has really confused me.

As far as MacGyver's response. If I look under Devices and Apps. Under Night Mode/Day Greetings there are 3 recordings.

RCA - under the hunt group announcement is NONE, Overflow is NONE, and recall is ext 2100. This is the main phone. They do not want to use the general mailbox. The member under the ring-in (hunt group) goes in this order -- > P0000 which is the station extension list and then 2502 (Night Mode)

If I'm understanding you correctly Troy, you might try listening to each one of those recordings, and see if all three are necessary. It sounds like one or two of them may need to be removed from the call processor.

If not then you need to take a look at where RCA is going.
