It's very sad that I don't remember these things.

Someone call "The Home" and make a reservation for me.

Let me say something I'm sure I've said before ( and will probably say again!)-

Farm Interphone?!?!

Wow!

Thank you, Arthur.

Sam, you can always come out here to God's country and help me pour dial tone back into the old phone collection.

And shortly after that auction finished this one was posted:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-WE...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2327ff13a6

And yet another one (with phones) is listed:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-WE...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f22224a56

Needless to say these look to be a much better "investment" than the stock market could ever be.

I hate to think of how many of those I threw in the trash.

I am not making this up...

A guy I worked with at NY TelCo / AT&T has the same set of dreams that I have. We are in some NYC phone building, and have found a case of (fill in the blank) Autovon Call Directors, (or) pink card dialers (or) a huge stash of 500p/u (mushroom phones) and we are trying to find a way to have them "fall off the truck." Then we wake up.

The punishment for having been (relatively) honest "back in the day" is now haunting our sleep in our retirement.

Yep. I think that I knew that guy. His other friend worked at the WE Kearney plant and served in his National Guard unit in the late 1970s.. They shared this same discussion. For some crazy reason, he always thought that green 830s would be a good find in the future. I'll be that he could probably get $400.00 a piece for them now.

I always thought I would like to have a working Home Interphone system but gave up on it more because of the unavailability of it than the price. I remember seeing one in action in D.C. I have now settled for a 1A2 system. Still running the 25-pair cable. I may be contacting EV for some more soon. Thanks everyone for your help with this question.
