I could use some help understanding a message in our 7400's activity log; I'm attempting to iron out some issues we've been having and occasionally run into the "First party disconnect detected" message. With relation to an individual calling us and the PBX picking up, who is the "first party" indicated here - us or the inbound caller?
For reference, I am posting a redacted copy of the log below:
8) [MOD 01 Day] New call - Fri Feb 15 11:17:11 2013 CP 11:17.11.30 8) Collecting out of band data 8) [MOD 01 Day] CODE = CID = <***********> FID = <2606> TRUNK = <> 8) [MOD 01 Day] Searching on Call Code - NS 8) [MNU Forward Station] 8) [MNU Forward Station] Searching on Forwarding party ID - 2606 CP 11:17.11.80 8) Key set to <2606> CP 11:17.11.84 8) External circuit detected 8) [EXT 01 XXXXXXXX] No answer CP 11:17.12.72 8) First party disconnect detected 8) [EXT 01 XXXXXXXX] Caller disconnected 8) VM hanging up
Any clarity anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.
