Hi All,

Since you've changed the forum the speed is shockingly slow.

Also, when you search the fact you get every individual reply in the results makes it so hard to find valid info.

You have such a good repository of info, just sucks its not as fast / good as it used to be!

The speed should be much faster then before. There is a lot more info being loaded so if your Internet connection is not very fast that will slow it down. Also try cleaning out your browser cookies and cache. For the search I prefer to use the Advanced search to narrow the results down.

I have to agree it's much faster here. As far as the search goes if you'll be specific and let us know what you're searching for maybe we can help. Just a general comment doesn't give us enough info to help out.

I've noticed problems getting forum pages to load sometimes. The server just stops responding but is just responsive enough to where the browser doesn't give me a timeout error. It's pretty frequent- and I get the same results on my iPhone using 3G, so it isn't my home connection. I just get stuck staring at a blank screen.

Im on a 15/1 mbit connection so speed on my end is OK.

I am located in Australia, so maybe its an outlink problem?

The search is painful.. Say you search for "Speed" in advanced, you would get every reply and post in this forum listed separately...

(Also, the speed was even worse when I was interstate last week.. Still in Australia but 500 miles away)

Yep, exactly my issue.

Just thinks and thinks. It does get there, but some pages can take up to 30-45 seconds to load.
