Is there a compatibility issue between NEC cards & phones? Presently installed in system are 1- CPU 1 (100) U10 1- COIB(8) - U10 1- ESIB(8) -U10 & ESIE(8)-U10 1- ESIB(8)-U10 1- Voice mail VM FMS(8) U30 Tried to add a ESIB(8)U20 & ESIE(8) U20 card into system & it did not reconize it. Also phones DTH-8D-1 did not work with existing DTR-16D-1 phones. Are DTHs compatible with DTRs? Thanks

What software version? (feature or function 3) What procedure are you using when adding the card?

There is a strap on the ESI-B/E to change to U10. CPU I works with U10. Looks like you probably need a PKU on the CPU also.

Card has to be added in mb 7-1. Also you only have 48 ports to play with.

16 CO ports and 32 Station ports... You have 24 digital ports and 8 VM (digital) ports, you are going to need a PKU.

Sorry for the delay. Found locally a used system with the following cards: CPUI I(100) U10 with PKU 11 -U (V1.0) & another chip with V1.61 ESI(8) U 10, COIB(4) U 10, 2* COI(8) U10 & on 2nd cabinet marked Electra Elite 192, there is NSA -173390 M 784000 EXP -U10 & 6* ESI (8) U10
1- Is the CPU & PKU compatible to the existing system? (parts mentioned on previous post) 2- I'm guessing I'll loose all programming if I replce CPU card?
Thanks

That is an IPKII CPU. It's compatible, but you'll have to reprogram from step 1 and it's a totally different animal.
