Team,
I am en-route to getting a second IPRC card (with firmware 1.x; wanna stay away from the nasty licensing on the newer 86xx IP fones ;-) for our Axxess 8.1 system. I am interested in pre-configuring a new block of Extension #'s on the switch, so that I may setup our Call-In Routing tables for our new DID's accordingly.
I guess my question is, does the new IPRC card *need* to be installed the switch *before* I can program in a new list of Extentions, or can this be done before hand? I am having one heck of a time finding out where in DB Studio to add in a new block of extentions.
Thanks in advance Amigos/Amigas!!
Humbly,
Dave

I understand the reason for staying away from the new licensing issues! :thumb:
I haven't done this with an IP card, but with a standard station card you can program them up as phantom extensions. Pull your existing IP card, move it to the slot where the new one will go and configure it as the new one will be configured. Finish all your programming and pull the card, put it back where it was. All your programming will stay if all works as with a regular station card.
Maybe one of the other techs will be more versed on it.
