Do you have MCP or MP20? What level of software are you running? It is a MCP - 06.08.19 Version 2.67A The MCP only has the MIS optional card plugged in, no others. For caller ID would I need one of the other optional cards or should Caller ID be built in to the system? The SVMi-20E card is 05.08.03 Version 5. Regards, Del

To decode the CID an RCM or RCM2 card is required. I believe they are EOL but you may be able to pick up one from old stock, failing that a CRM card but this would require the MCP firmware upgrading to at least 4.21

Remove the 1001 prompt from the day main menu will fix your press * issue.
The RCM and RCM2 cards are the same ones used in the iDCS500 R1 and R2.
The RCM card provides PSTN CID decoding for Digital handsets only, the RCM2 card provides PSTN CID for both Digital and Analogue handsets.

Thanks to everyone for the help, I'll look out for a RCM2 or CRM card in the secondhand/refurb market.
