I picked up a DSX80 system, I have no phones for the system. I am not able to access it using the Admin. app software. I suspect the IP address has been changed from default.

I do not see any dip switches on the processor card that might allow me to default this system.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Bill

It's in the DSX80 hardware manual on page 55.

You will need to know at least the major version it is 1.xx 2.xx or 3.xx they each use a different admin software. you can just try all 3.

Here is the procedure to erase all programming and return the system to its default settings. This information is contained in the DSX hardware manual.

1. Turn off the system.
2. Press and hold the reset switch (DSX-40 system or DSX-80/160 CPU) while turning on the system power.
3. When all the LEDs (DSX-40 system or DSX-80/160 CPU) light and then go out, release the reset switch. The system will restart with the default settings.
