Hello, I am new to the forum and hope I am posting this correctly. I am currently working with a client who has a Comdial DX 80. There are several tweaks that need to be done. I have much experience with Digium products and Lucent/ATT and am a CCNA, MCSE, MCSA, MCP, MCITP, Dcse but for the life of me cannot figure this out. There are no techs in my area (Wolfeboro, NH) and I have called a ton of places! I need help! Specifically with having a CO ring in to a particular UCD. I don't have the PCDBA for the phone or the vm. I have read and re read the manual for the DX80 and the supervisor guide for the VM. Can someone please take pity on me and lend a hand?

You're trying to change ringing for a particular CO line to ring a specific UCD group, or it already rings the UCD group and you want to modify it?
The Installation and Maintenance Manual for the DX80 is pretty straightforward, and the changes can all be performed from the phone. It depends on the firmware version, but the changes can be made by logging in on extension 101.
You mentioned the Supervisor Guide for the voicemail. What changes were you needing to make there?

It already rings to the ucd group (I think). This is very complicated to me and I would love to have a tech do it but there are none even close to my location. I will try to explain it better. CO2/741 rings in and goes straight to voicemail on a particular extension if the user doesn't pickup (ext 111). This is fine but I want it to go to another extension (112). 111 is a member of 410/mbs and 112 is a member of 411/afs. They are both in tenant group 1. Currently it rings to the ucd 410/MBS (or is this a hunt group?). I need it to ring to ucd 411/AFS. I named those MBS and AFS. What I really want is for a separate message to play when you ring into CO2/741 as an AA. Not the 800 greeting (which it isn't even doing now. It doesnt go to box 800, it goes straigh to extension 112. I set up a routing box for 804 with a separate message. Now I am confusing myself!! I am willing to pay tech support for anyone to help!!
