I have a Inter-tel 5000, the customer is wanting a DID number to ring on a button on 2 phones then got to a voicemail. Only that button lights up none of the call appearance keys. I have tried with a phantom but as soon as assign the phantom a forwarding path it goes straight to voicemail . Tried with a hunt group but the call appearance keys ring with the button. Any suggestions.

Create a Secondary Call Key for the phantom, set to ring with 1 call present.

Point the DID to the phantom and assign a forward path to voice mail on No Answer.

Incoming calls should ring on the Secondary Call Key and forward to voice mail if not answered. You will have to press the key in order to answer the call.
