Hey Guys Just have a question on the cisco IP phones can they use pots lines ?

Yes... matter of fact i have a customer who just replaced his Cisco system because the vendor couldn't program his Cisco system to use the PRI he was getting.

They told him they would have to remove the system, send it out for programming, and he would have it back within 10 days.

SERIOUSLY?.... how did they expect a customer to operate without a phone system for 10 days.

He asked me if my systems would handle a PRI... i said yes... and then explained that if necessary i could tell him on the phone how to program a PRI in about 30 seconds... so he replaced his Cisco and the PRI was up and running a couple days later!

Yes if you have FXO ports they work fine.

The Cisco IP PHONES themselves will not use a POTS line. It will only run with an IP Phone system. They have no built in terminal adapter for analog usage either.

You can interconnect your IP phone system with POTS or PRI just fine with the proper gateway.
