We have a customer that has a Samsung OS7200 with a PRI. When dialing a long distance number, the customer does not have to enter in a 1, just the ten digits, and the call goes through. I called Bell Canada and they tell me to check the PRI settings on the OS7200, is it set for National or Unknown. I have went through the PRI programming and unless I missed it, I cannot find this setting. Is there even a setting for this?

I don't understand that you have a question stated.

MMC420 (IT/DM 2.6.8) (PRI Trunk Options) is what you're looking for.

Thanks. I checked MMC 420 and the only thing I can see that would be applicable is the Q-Sig info. The four choices I have are Normal, Q-Signalling, QSIG Basic 1 and QSIG Basic 2. I will try each one.

Qsig is networking via pri cards (system to system, not necessarily the same vendor) The name of the setting is calling number plan and calling number type.
I only ever change them when setting up extension cli
