I have a 2.0.2.5e BCM50 that has run fine for about 5 years. About a month ago, it started rebooting occasionally and then started locking up and needing a power off and on to get going again.

I replaced the hard drive as that was the most prevalent reason for system reboots. Unfortunately the system still reboots - although, it isn't locking up and needing a power-off any more.

When I replaced the hard drive, I used a backup that I took right before exchanging the hard drive. I thought maybe I had re-introduced corruption with that restore since I had taken the backup from the questionable hard drive. I then did another restore from a backup in december 2012 before the issues started. It is still rebooting.

I have tried to make sense of the logs but get nowhere with them. Can anyone help me get closer to figuring out what is going on here?

The config is main unit with expansion chassis and with a GATM module

Power Supply maybe?????

Thanks, I will look at that...I am going to change the UPS out also. I am also going to replace the fan in the main unit and the 2 in the expansion. I wish this was more like a server where fan sensors and temperature sensors are part of the diagnostics.
