I have a set of pbx-s CCIS-d together as follows:
IPS2000---ICS2400---SV8500---IPS2000.
When I call over from the first IPS2000 to the last one, I do see the caller's extension and name. When I call from the first IPS2000 to the SV8500, it doesn't show the name/number.
When I call from the last IPS to the ICS2400 it doesn't show the name/number. When I call from the last IPS to the SV8500, it does show the name/number.

So, first to last IPS2000 DOES work, meaning the name/number information is there the whole route. Yet, under certain circumstances, it doesn't show on the called terminal's screen. Any idea what to look at?

CM A726>0>0 For the CCH channel(0), allow name display over CCIS.
CM A728>0>0 For the CCH channel(0), allow Caller ID over CCIS.

Are you using IP CCIS or TDM CCIS? Or a mix?
Hope this helps

These are all TDM CCIS trunks, and I checked the programming on the IPS and it was already programmed with the parameters mentioned above

I'd check ANDD on the 2400. Not sure what that translates to on the 8500.

Set the following:
ARTD/N CDN:112> to 1 for the CCIS routes in SV8500 and the 2400.
good luck

Thank you for the advice. That was already set on all CCIS routes of the SV8500, but on the 2400ICS, CDN doesn't go up to 112, so there is no such setting.

Sorry for the wrong info about 2400 ICS.
please try ARTE >cdn> 43; it should be 1.
good luck

Thank you guys for all your effort in trying to help me out on this. I checked the ARTE command on the ICS but the CDN 43 for all CCIS routes was already set to 1.

Still no go. Remind you: I do have name display if I call from the IPS2000 on one end of the CCIS chain all the way to the other IPS2000 on the other end of the CCIS chain. I also get name display if I only jump one CCIS route. It only appears to be a problem if I call from one of the IPS 2000 and hop through either the ICS to reach the SV8500, or call from the other IPS to the ICS via the SV8500.

How you make a call in which the caller info doesn't display?
will you provide access codes and point codes as in real call?

For the users, they just call "extension numbers", but within each system, the first few digits of the extension numbers are actually access codes that tell each systems which route to send the call to. So if you call extension 32100, "321" is actually an access code in the caller's system, and 32100 is an extension in the destination phone system.
