Hi -
I am a Mitel tech with experience working primarily on 200 ML/EL, ICP. I recently installed a 3000 for a small office. Originally, 2nd and 3rd calls to the receptionist would ring and a tone could be heard on the handset if she was already on the 1st line. They wanted to set up the auto attendant with a menu tree (single digit dial through) and I tried putting the different extensions into groups as indicated in the manual. The calls routed to the correct extensions but if no one answered, the calls did not go to voice mail. Now, to make matters worse, if the receptionist is on a line and another call comes in, it only flashes on the 4110 phone - no audible indication that a call is coming in or waiting. I took the 3000 Basic Mechanical I&M course years ago. I looked back through my notes but could not come up with anything. The manual is a little vague on the more "advanced" programming steps for the AA. Any ideas?
Thanks as always for any advice -
Rich
