Has anyone been able to get a Linksys PAP2 working on the Toshiba CIX or IPedge outside the firewall ? And if so how ?

Assuming you are just trying to get analog lines that ring in and call out, there is only one problem, and that is with voicemail.
You are hooking up an analog line from the Linkysis to an RCOU3 card or similar.
If you want these lines to work with voicemail you need a Viking CPC-1 that will hang up the line.
Other than that, I am not understanding your needs.

I am trying to have a analog station on a remote site with the linksys PAP2 which is a sip to analog gateway. What you are describing is to get a CO trunk into the system which by the way a IPedge does not have the option of a RCOU card. The sip gateway works when both are on the same network but does not work when it is on a remote side behind the firewall.

ctc Toshiba CIX with MIPU. MIPU has to have a external IP address and cannot be behind a firewall for all IP phones outside of the network. There is no work around unless you have a VPN setup.

your linksys pap2 or anything sip cannot be directly registered to a ipedge as an extension. only toshiba ip devices (i hope) and public MIPU address can register. VPN is the solution if your MIPU is in the LAN portion of the router, and you have to find analog device registering on IPEDGE good luck
