Greetings. My Background is 40 years of AT&T/Lucent/Avaya Products/Service. Installed my first NEC DSX 160 recently and am impressed with it. But, One Problem: The Boss has a personal line that rings only on his phone; when he turns on his DND for all calls feature,incoming calls to his Personal line, do not flow to his voicemail box; the call rings at ALL other stations, with no display or button indication of what the incoming call is.(This is his Personel Line-no other station has a button for it). This only happens when he turns on his Do Not Disturb (DND). Internal calls do cover to his voicemail with no problem. How should the incoming personal line call be handled by the System when DND is turned on for all calls? I'm hoping it's a program setting in the System. Thank You. Roy.

Under line programming, did you set that particular line to ring "extension" as opposed to "key ring" then his extension number?

Is that a feature that can be set at the user's Station, or, do I need to do that at the System Admin level? Thanks for reply.

You may set it at the station.

You need to setup the trunk for his private line as day and night term to his extension.
