One of my customers inherited a CTX 100 system. No manuals, I have downloaded a programming manual off the internet. The terminology in this manual is almost foreign to me. I have had some success with programming, but I am unsure which program assigns ringing or no ring to an extension. I'm thinking it around #310, but I am not sure. Phones are model DKT2020SD.

Could be 310 but hard to say since you didn't mention what type of trunks you have and if you have line appearances.

The system has two lines, each line has it's own button. It's a small installation, 2 lines x 4 phones. Lines are POTS lines. I'm wondering if I have all the necessary manuals for this system. The programming manual has very few details.

The system is supposed to be installed by a certified Toshiba tech who has gone through the appropriate training on how to install and program the system which is why the manual was not written for the layman with step-by-step instructions on how to do things. But, in your case the ringing is simply done with the button assignments. If you have eManager it would be quite apparent where this is done in the station programming section. But, if you are programming via a telephone set then someone here might be able to walk you through via email or PM.

Unfortunately, I'm finding this out after the fact. The present occupant bought the building with the KSU left behind by the previous owner. I supplied a few phones to get the system operational. My research has already concluded that I can not get my hands on the programming software. I am a tech with 28 years experience and have never run into a system this difficult to set up. The real downside is, payment is being withheld until the system is like they want it. Several lessons learned here, I'll never touch another one.
