Make sure when doing 81 you are selecting the intercom button as line 1

analog ringing 81 day service 82 12 second delay 83 24 second delay 85 night service you do have analog lines ?
if you have defaulted the system then all ports should line up ie 000=200 001=201 and so on you are lighting the buttons up in prog 81 bottom left row upwards on a 20 button phone or just start at the bottom if using a 10 button phone? not top to bottom ?

Thank you for all the advice, you guys certainly helped me through this! I re-ran 91-9 several more times and then 81 worked as it should, just as Alvaphonepro mentioned several posts back. Thank you all again for your advice!
