To answer my phone I have to press the line that is ringing to connect to the incoming call. Something had to happen with the programming because I use to be able to just pick up the phone & was connected automatically. How can I fix this? Thanks

Flip the program switch to on and at the phone dial #38, lift and replace handset. You should hear a conformation beep. If #38 doesn't work then try #36 can't remember wich one.

Okay, now I have a stupid question, where is the program switch? If I dial #38 and it doesn't work will that mess up any other features? Thank you so much for your help.

It won't mess anything up. The switch is on the side of your KSU (tan box that says InterTel)

Just wanted to tell you thank you & it worked. I did it last week & no problems. It is the #38 that works & not #36.
