My company has just recently purchased unified messaging solution from Inter-tel for faxing and voice mail delievery through e-mail. I have ran into problems with installing the UM client v2.219. The client installs on the desktop, I have set the ip address to the Voice processor, and the user mailbox and mailbox password. On every station I have installed I get an "resolve message class failed" error when I choose the faxing icon in outlook.

Any suggestions?

What version of Outlook are you using? How many fax channels do you have?

ATC custom forms have not been installed or have been removed from the current profile.

Run the ATC setup application selecting Unified messaging only (No need to install Fax/Print driver).

If this does not work, you will need to install the custom forms manually.

Make sure your ver of Outlook is supported with the version of UM

I am having troubles getting UM 2.358 to work at all. I get

"The Inter-Tel Unified Messaging message service could not be added to the Outlook mail profile. Contact your system administrator and make sure you have permissions to modify the mail profile"

I saw another thread on this:

However none of the answers worked for me. I'm domain admin and have granted my user exclusive admin permissions over the local machine, as well as disabled any anti-virus before/during/after the install to no avail. What's going on with this? I manually connected to my mailbox, but having trouble with the forms since the software did not install properly to begin with. We have many users here, and I need to get this nailed down for future installations.
