I have a nortel system. When a call is transfered to an extension I am trying to get it to go to voicemail after 4 rings if the extension is not answered. The mailboxes are setup and we have tested it by feature 980.

Set up "CFNA" to 4 for each MB desired. MB's also must be initialized.

when I try to setup cfna for a mailbox and try to put the mailbox number in for that extension it will not let me. For instance if I setup a mailbox for extension 23 and make that mailbox 23 when I got to setup cfna and try to put 23 in there it wont let me. It will let me put another mailbox number in there but not 23.

do feature 985 and figure out your vm dn. Login to the capabilities section in the phone programming and set your fwd no answer to the vm dn
