I have found myself with another S/L ringing issue on a Magix
Touch Tone Tommy provided me with a solution that worked great last time, but it appears that only 16 S/L extensions can be assigned as fax.
Here is the problem, warehouse type facility with a large number of S/L phone with line powered loud warbles attached, that do not like the double ring of an outside call.
Is there anyway possible to make outside calls to be a single industry standard long ring instead of the double ring of the magix? Or should I just suggest replacement of the system with something that I know will do and industry standard ring on S/L ports?
Thanks in advance Josh

What are the chances you might have an 008OPT card just sitting around, or can borrow one? Even though you can't set any more extensions as "fax" machines, to rid them of the double ring, an OPT card may generate a better tolerated ringing voltage and current.
I wouldn't purchase one without testing the application first, however.
