Just installed an old svm 400 at a customer site, I am having trouble with the hangup disconnect. When a customer calls auto attendant answers immediately and plays the hours (50% of their calls) and then if they remain on the line ring 500. The 50% of the people that wanted the hours hang up after hearing them and the system wasnt disconnecting the phones then ring and the [person answering hears a fast busy. At night the general mailbox is full of busy's. So I ordered central office disconnect on the lines from the phone company. Now when monitoring I hear it switch to new dial tone when the person hangs up, still same result for system d

disconnect . So I bought viking CPC 1 devices and installed. They work 1 out of 4 calls. I am a loss for whats my next step. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. I installed cheap and now I'm going back for free but not leaving a customer like that, thanks

Who is the carrier? I've never had a problem with a samsung disconnecting as long as the carrier was really sending the signal. What happens if you take a screwdriver and dead short the trunk port?
