Incoming call comes in ringing at ext. 14, 15, 16 and 17. If this call goes unanswered they want it to go to ext. 14's mailbox for caller to leave a message. How would I go about doing this? Right now, I got it ringing all the extensions but it goes to the main greeting of the VM if it goes unanswered. Any direction would be appreciated!

I'm thinking I need to program this line to ring a phantom extension, then put this phantom extension on each phone that needs to ring. Not sure how to program the phantom though, if this is the way it needs to be done.

DK280 doesn't have 2 digit extension numbers only a DK16, DK40, DK40i. Don't know what you have, but not a DK280.

Is 14 forwarded to voicemail with programs 603, 656, 657?

Its 1 AM and my thinking is fuzzy but I'm remembering that you make only 14 ring and put a phantom of 14 on the other three phones. 14 would be the phantom owner.

The 280 can have 2 digit extensions. I believe you need to make the Phdn ring in *81,*84,*87 for the CO. Then in that Phdn make the vmid code 14 and call forward all calls to another phdn. Put the second phdn on the phones as well as the first phdn on one phone. Then in 81,84,87 make those phones ring on the CO. Also need to make sure *80 is enabled. #603 on the second phdn to VM and call should follow id code of the first phdn. Something like that.

I am pretty sure that I have been to locations installed by other techs that use a DN, and not a PHDN, in program *81 and the system seems to want to follow the call forwarding and VMID of the extension in PRG *81.

Also, I would assume that you want to remove the voicemail ports from program 82 or 83 so the voicemail system does not answer before the call forwarding kicks in.

You can make mailbox 14 the done chain for 990 or 991 or instruct the caller to press a key like 0 to leave a message and have that key go to 14, make sure to turn the DND on in mailbox 14. This is assuming you have a Stratagy voice mail.
