Having a heck of a time getting things to work right after upgrade, especially a license issue, Ive heard that others have got it to work, followed docs exactly (which we know can be dangerous too). Any experience tips welcome. Thanks

Hi,
Do you have the new licenses from vertical for the 3.0? Is the Wave under subscribtion? Pretty straight forward usually. Where are you getting stuck?

Hi Jim, since my post I discovered a couple of things ( the hard way of course) I keep running into corrupted cab files, not sure if its coming from my laptop or thumb drive but I know they are corrupted because when I download a new file from Vertical via the desktop of the wave then the upgrades go smoothly. The other thing I found out is that if I use my ie from the desktop of my laptop I end up with huge problems in programming due to Java issues. Was given a heads up this morning from my supervisor that we should only be programming from the desktop of the wave, wish I had know that before.

Either that or uninstall the version of Java on your laptop, reboot, and then download the Java version from the Wave when you connect to the web admin and disable the updates of Java.
