I am having an issue where camp-on audio is still being sent to my endpoints, even though on each individual endpoint, and I have set the "Camp-On Indications" flag to no and the "Hunt Group Camp-On Audio Indications" also to no. What gives?

This is not such a big deal for my digital endpoints as they can adjust the volume of the ring down low enough for it to not be bothersome, but for my IP NetPhone endpoints, the camp-on audio indication rings into the headset that the agents are talking/listening on--effectiviely disabling them from hearing the person on the other end until the line stops ringing. It is VERY disruptive. Any suggestions on what I can do to fully get rid of this camp-on indication audio? I'd love to get rid of it on any and all endpoints in the entire company if I could...

Thanks,
Ben

For future reference, we've gotten this issue resolved. Seems there was a "change" made to the OAISYS Net Phone software somewhere in between builds 5.0.203 and 5.0.207. We had 5.0.203 and downloaded and installed the most recent 5.0.207 and then went in under Setup -> Audio Devices Setup and now under "Ringer Settings" there's a new option to check that states "Also ring for campons (call waiting) enabled?". Uncheck that box and Voila! no more camp on audio on IP Net Phones.

As a side note, the Audio Devices Setup is not available unless you are using the IP Net Phone.

Thanks,
Ben

Thanks for keeping us posted Ben.

Sorry we weren't much help. I don't think there is a lot of support here for the CS5000. I hope you hang around to give us a hand with that.

On another note, how do you like your OAISYS system? I have one here I've been planning to implement in our offices just to get up to speed on it.
