We've just upgraded our phones to the DS-5014 series.
Trying to setup the key extenders on the phone so its easier to transfer calls around the office.
Followed the manual as it says MMC 107
i can select the button i want to set but when i press the right soft key it wont move over to let me set the function, it just blinks, tried it in admin mode but it still wont do anything.
Can anyone help..?

Are the keys already assigned as DS keys?They have to be for that mmc to work.And that needs to be done in tech programming.

Sorry, What are DS keys?
Originally they were set on our KPDCS-12B handsets

DS keys are the keys for calling internal extensions.The extender tells it what extension to call ie a DS201 key will call extension 201 when pressed.

Oh yeah I remember that now. DS stands for Direct Station or something like that of I remember correctly.
Currently they are all set to NONE or blank (can't remember)
It basically looks like
01 -> CALL1
02 -> CALL2
03 ->
04 ->
etc etc...

Looks like a default keyset program.So you need to assign the keys before you can change the extender in mmc 107.

figured it out! there was a video on youtube, loged in to customer programming then MMC 722 to set them. I can now use MMC 107 to edit them aswell
