Moving BCM 50 with ISDN expansion- Powered system down, installed at new location. System will not boot up.

On the CCU the power light is green and the Nortel symbol is Orange, every 5 mins the Power light flashes Amber and the Norel symbol is a solid Orange.

I have also disconnected the exp cab- same fault exsists.

Do i also terminate the amphenol on pins 2+5 or 3+4 of voice socket, i am getting power to the handset whichever pins i terminate on?

You can pull all cables off the main unit just to make sure nothing is interferring.
But it really sounds like you have a bad disk drive.
It could be a bad processor, but I would still bet on the drive being bad.

can you connect a set on port 101 main extension see if it is locked with an alarm code.
i had an issue a while ago sets wouldnt come up until i realised the main set had an alarm code but like ntlayoff sais justhoock up power and see if it comes back,kinda weird just by moving it but sometimes s@## happens

If it keeps recycling a reboot then I bet it's the hard drive as well...it cant find the boot files.
