Basically we've got a Samsung Officeserv 7100 telephone system linked into our main telephone line.
When a call comes in its answered by the auto attendant and transferred through to our main office.
Our problem is...if the caller hangs up before we answer the call, the line isn't disconnecting so the phones keep ringing.
Ive attached a volt meter to the BT master socket (which is also where out system plugs into) to check if disconnect supervision is active on our line and im abit puzzled.
When on hook, the voltage is 48V....fine
When on a call, the voltage is 10V....fine
But when the caller ends the call the line voltage only drops to 7.6V and stays there...once we put the phone down it goes back to 48V
Im sure its suppose to be 48V down to 10V while on a call, when someone puts the phone down the voltage should drop again to 0V then back to 10V to disconnect the call, when we put the phone on hook the voltage goes backup to 48V
Anyone have any ideas?
