We've got an old Win 100D R3 system, has been working fine. We needed to add a couple of phones and found that we can't connect using the maint terminal port any more. Power cycled the system, no joy. Baud rate is set correctly. Hyperterm settings are correct.
Anyone with ideas?
Thanks

Is there an 8stl card in the system with analog ports programmed. You can connect an analog line to the rj on the cpu for remote access thru dial up. also you can try swapping the ribbon cable for local maint and smdr then connect to the smdr port to see if you can communicate.
